If you are suffering from Breast Implant Illness, the first and most necessary step is to explant. Without explanting you cannot recover from this condition. Once you have explanted you will need to embark on a recovery program. The length of your recovery will really be dependant on the severity of your illness and how much it has affected the different systems in your body.

Here at Neomed we have two programs one includes the Explant Surgery plus recovery program and the other is for those who have already explanted but are still suffering the effects of the implants. Our unique program works at treating all of your body systems and addresses all of your symptoms but also all underlying causes.

If you would like to find out more about our Explant and Recovery Programs or would like to book a free confidential consult with us please use the form below to contact us.

Can Breast Implants Cause Chronic Illness?

breast-implant.png

Today with increasing numbers of women suffering around the globe,, we want to add our voice to the worldwide chorus that yes indeed, breast implants can cause chronic illness.

It seems that to explant is the new fashion but for many it is not a fashion statement but a necessary action to regain their health.

From minor issues to debilitating symptoms, breast implants come at a major health cost. Reports show many women are getting diagnosed with autoimmune disorders, chronic fatigue syndrome, arthritis, fibromyalgia, liver and kidney dysfunction and at worse even a rare type of cancer, breast implant-associated anaplastic large cell lymphoma (BIA-ALCL).

Side effects and complications include breast pain, blood clots, loss of sensation in the nipple, rupture, deflation and lymphadenopathy, which means that lymph glands near the insertion site become swollen, skin necrosis, Calcification of the breast tissue and nipple discharge among others.

Breast-implant-induced toxicity, caused especially by silicone, manifests with a variety of symptoms and is difficult to diagnose. Headaches, chronic fatigue, hair loss, hormonal imbalance, insomnia, sudden-onset allergies, thyroid problems and gastrointestinal problems are just some of the symptoms caused by silicone poisoning.

Explanting of course is the number one step if you are suffering from any of the above side effects or conditions. Here at Neomed Institute in Cyprus we have developed a program to support the recovery of individuals who decide to explant and help them to regain their health once again.

Our unique explant and breast illness program includes the removal of the implants by our expert Associate Surgeon Dr. Christina Panaretou at a private hospital local to us which is followed by a post operative rehabilitation period at our clinic. Our post operative program is designed with therapies that reduce inflammation, accelerate tissue regeneration and detoxification with specialised physiotherapies to enhance lymphatics, support the hormonal system of the body and to stimulate and support the immune system.

We also offer our post operative program to individuals who have already explained elsewhere but who are still suffering with breast implant illness. For more information on our full Explant and Breast Illness Program or our Post Operative Breast Illness Program please use the form below to contact us.

Known worldwide as the ‘King of Oils’ and one of the most precious essential oils , Frankincense is not just a nice aroma for the Christmas Season. Once worth its weight in gold and a gift fit for kings, the therapeutic benefits of this amazing oil make it an essential part of any healing journey.

Frankincense comes from the dried sap of the Boswellia genus trees in particularly Boswellia sacra, serrata and carteri. These trees grow in Somalia and Ethiopia, Oman and Yemen, India and China. Steam distillation is used to obtain the essential oil from the dry frankincense resin making it possible for us to get the full benefit of this amazing natural substance.

Researchers at an Egyptian University conducted a study showing that frankincense oil exhibits strong immunostimulant activity. Frankincense is also rich in Alpha-pinene which is a substance that induces a calming and stabilizing emotion. This amazing essential oil also has strong antiseptic qualities and can be used for oral health to help conditions such gingivitis, bad breath, cavities, toothaches, mouth sores among others.

Frankincense can also help those with digestive issues. It does this by speeding up the secretion of digestive enzymes, relaxing the digestive tract muscles and improving blood circulation in the gut which all aids proper function of the digestive tract. Its anti-inflammatory properties can also help with pain associated with bowel conditions.

Frankincense has been shown to help prevent the breakdown of cartilage tissue and reduce levels of painful inflammation, making it another go-to oil for natural treatment of conditions which affect muscles, bones, joints and tendons.

Announcing ZELL-SCREENING now available at Neomed

ZELL-SCREENING.jpg

ZELL-SCREENING At Our Cyprus Clinic!

We are pleased to announce that we are now offering ZELL-SCREENING (ZS) at our clinic here in Cyprus.

ZELL-SCREENING is a painless, cost-effective, super fast, accurate cell analysis system. This amazingly innovative optical technology screens minerals, trace elements and toxic metals at the intratissular level through a simple hand held mobile device which is connected to a cloud based data software system.

The non-invasive ZELL-SCREENING (ZS) works optically by spectro-photometry (measurement with light) according to Lambert-Beer's law:

"Each substance absorbs and emits light of a certain wavelength

range. The more concentrated a substance is, the more light is

absorbed. This allows a quantitative analysis."

This test is to show the bioavailability of minerals, trace elements and heavy metals in the body’s living tissues and not what is circulating in the blood or being excreted from the body through urine. This allows us to see what is happening directly in tissues and not in the body's fluids which are thus much more unstable and less reliable. The ZELL-SCREENING test allows one to observe what happens in the muscle or in the venous blood, extracted from muscular tissue, therefore giving an estimate of the intra-tissular bioavailibility. It currently measures 20 minerals and trace elements and 14 toxic metals (environmental toxins).

The test only takes a few minutes and the results are available moments after, with the ability of immediate interpretation.

If you are worried about the levels of toxicity in your body or indeed the levels of necessary minerals and elements this is a worthwhile test to take.

If you would like more info on this our ZELL-SCREENING test or to book an appointment then please contact us using the form below:
